Diversion is hull #11 of Nordhavn’s legendary 57 which was conceptualized and created as a state of the art passagemaker with classic lines and a range of over 3,000 nautical miles. This extremely solid and beautifully crafted vessel has been upgraded by its current owners who have used it on the eastern seaboard for the last few years. This particular model has the extended salon for extra living space, the family-friendly three stateroom layout, two full heads with shower, and the washer/dryer located in the salon. With sliding doors on either side of the galley area and another pair on either side of the pilothouse, this model of the 57 allows for easy access to the exterior of the vessel from all points. A large slider in the stern of the salon allows excellent access to the back deck area, swim step and starboard walk around. From the galley area, stairs lead down to the ample engine room, famed for it’s standing height and walk around main engine. Also from the Galley area, one can ascend into the pilothouse and then down a small spiral stair to the staterooms and heads below.

From Nordhavn:

“Beautifully handcrafted by the world’s finest shipwrights, her modern, contemporary look provides spacious, luxurious accommodations, yet she maintains a sense of serious determination that will endear her to the most salty traditionalist.”

“Thanks to extraordinary attention to hull design and a commitment to extensive tank testing, the Nordhavn 57 has exceeded P.A.E.’s expectations for speed and efficiency. A close look at its wide range of cruising speeds, coupled with its efficient fuel burning rate, will clearly demonstrate that this boat is the embodiment of today’s modern, long distance cruiser.”

From The Owners:

We have been very blessed to have had the experience of cruising the eastern seaboard from Norfolk to the keys and the Bahamas over the last two years. We have spent countless hours improving Diversion ensuring that she is comfortable and mechanically sound to allow for generally worry free cruising and entertaining. During our time on Diversion we have experienced the cruising lifestyle out of our normal Pacific Northwest element and are grateful for that. She is an extremely seaworthy vessel and it is with mixed emotions that we offer her for sale. It has become apparent that our current lifestyle and interests are somewhat incompatible with the cruising experience. We are confident that Diversion will be an excellent vessel for her next owners.

She is currently located in Charleston, SC. Viewings can be accommodated by contacting Jason Loeb at jasonlob@gmail.com or via mobile at 360.305.6917.
